St. Olaf will be a Host Parish for the Diocesan Youth Mission trip called Love Begins Here (LBH) event this summer. We will be hosting approximately 75 youth and chaperones from parishes in the Diocese of Madison who will be doing mission work in the St. Olaf area. Each parish brings their own chaperones and there will also be a LBH core team here at St. Olaf. During the day the missionaries will be working in the community and will return to the St. Olaf parish center at the end of the day for fun, prayer, food and sleep.

We are looking for volunteers now for the Mission Prep Team. This team will be meeting five times during March and April. The team's job will be to find work sites in the community for both individuals and community organizations. We are looking for up to 10 volunteers for this team who will be working with our Leadership Team.

- April 4 6:15 - 8:15 pm
- April 18 6:15 - 7:00 pm
- Final wrap-up at Arandas May 9 (time TBD)

Service Work Needed
Do you have a project where you could use some help with the project or help watching your kiddos while you perform the project? Do you have an elderly person that could use light help, but could really benefit from a social visit? We are looking for sites for our LBH teams the week of July 24 - 27.
Some of the activities that high school aged missionaries can do include weeding, picking up branches, moving mulch, moving boxes, sweeping/cleaning/organizing garage, babysitting, visiting, etc. If you or someone you know in the DeForest or East Bristol areas could use some assistance, please reach out to Paula Hill at 608-839-7149 (dre@saintolafchurch.org) or Tracy Hellenbrand at 608-839-7129 (stolafbusmgr@saintolafchurch.org).
